Sporty and exciting, that’s how the new concept car from Suzuki presents itself at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Say hello to the new Suzuki Swift S Concept featuring a lower and wider version of the standard Swift.
Presented on a Lightning Pearl Yellow finish, the Suzuki Swift S Concept comes with a lot of aerodynamic upgrades giving it a more sporty appearance. These upgrades includes a new front and rear bumpers, a huge rear spoiler, remodeled headlights and rear lights, and a set of 18-inch wheels. Inside, the Swift S Concept features a sporty yet luxurious interior with its perfectly contrasting two-tone bucket Recaro racing seats, sporty steering wheel, modified meter clusters and carbon fiber trims on the the center console.
The Swift S Concept measures 3.89 m in length, 1.755 m in width, 1.475 m tall with a wheelbase of 2.43 m. The Swift S-Concept rides lower and is 60 mm wider than the new Swift model which Suzuki began marketing in Europe in 2010.
Power for the Swift S Concept comes from Suzuki’s 1.6-liter M16A mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Suzuki provide no official information on its engine performance but we promise to give you that as soon as it is available, after all, this is still a concept. What we have here is what probably Suzuki’s next production model.
